Education

Education entails that its subjects acquire a variety of knowledge. It begins with the acquisition of elementary knowledge—that is to say, literacy—on the part of the youngest members of society. At this stage, children learn to read and write. This is an essential stage which will permit the child to pursue his/her education by integrating secondary and post-secondary instruction. Education also consists of a form of learning that is necessary for the development of one's personality and identity, as well as his physical and intellectual capabilities. Education has as its ultimate objective the improvement of a person's quality of life. It offers to underprivileged adults and children a chance to escape from poverty. It is thus an essential tool for the economic, social and cultural development of all populations around the world. Although education is a right, it still remains a distant dream for many of India's children. It is clear that it is not enough to make laws; they need to be augmented by more efforts. Education should be accessible to all if society is to succeed.

Their Rights

What does \'Children\'s Rights\' actually mean? Does it mean you can do what you like, behave as you like, and no one can stop you? Hmm, you wish! Seriously though, Children's rights include the right to health, education, family life, play and recreation, an adequate standard of living and to be protected from abuse and harm. Children's rights cover their developmental and age-appropriate needs that change over time as a child grows up.If you are reading this, chances are that you already have your basic rights – you are alive, you are protected, you are getting an education, and you have a chance to express yourself and be heard. But you know that not all children in this world have these rights. You have seen such children around you, and you feel not so good about it but it also cannot be denied that society publicly or covertly ignore such children and their needs. They are kept deprived of their basic necessities like medical treatments, nutrition, development and the most important "Education".
